What An Experience!

Recently, I had an experience which really strengthened my belief in God. This is the tenth time I have had such a revelation. I had the privilege of holding in my arms our youngest grandchild. Since we are blessed with three children and seven grandchildren, you know now where the number ten mentioned earlier originates. When I think of holding a new life which, until recently, was not among us, it takes my breath away. I find it hard to believe that our human family is a gigantic accident of nature. It all reminds me of a line I remember from a movie. I might be paraphrasing, but it says, “To those who believe, no explanation is necessary; to those who do not believe, no explanation is possible.”

There’s one other joy I should mention. When that happy little baby got hungry or uncomfortable, he began to cry. It was then that I had the joy of handing him over to his loving parents!
