One More Time!

I believe this will be our final excursion into the world of limericks for a while. I have two more to share with you.

The first is from Mrs. Marty Baxter of Santa Clorita, Ca. It has the unusual title of: Psyco cementic.

When I thought I was getting demented,
To feel more serene and contented,
I’d buy mortar mix
And lay a few bricks,
Now our back yard is nicely cemented.

Here’s one more effort from Jolly Rollie; it’s called, Salute to Exercise!

The fountain of youth I’ve been seeking;
While the gray through my hair does go streaking.
Exercise lost its charm,
I confess with alarm;
And my joints just continue their creaking!

I would write more, but I think it’s time for a nap.
